The NFL Regular season kicks off tonight in Foxboro as the reigning NFL Champs take on the visiting Steelers.  While many fantasy football owners have their rosters set and are just anxiously counting down the hours to kickoff, there is also major money being handed out in daily fantasy football leagues. One of the most popular sites to play on is DraftKings where they’re giving out truckloads of money week 1, so make sure to get your lineup put together with the help of these DraftKings fantasy football picks for week 1.

More from Arizona Cardinals

DraftKings and FanDuel have definitely been promoting their leagues hard, and here at FanSided our goal is to help you find just the right picks for whichever site or format you decide to play. In the box on the right you can see our latest coverage including the latest injury updates and some waiver wire pickups to watch.  Each Thursday of the regular season, you can also find my DraftKings fantasy football picks and my FanDuel fantasy football picks.  While there is definitely overlap, each post is fine-tuned to fit the format and pricing of the individual sites.

To find all our fantasy football coverage throughout the season, drop a bookmark on our fantasy football hub and follow @FansidedFantasy on Twitter.  I’ll be happy to answer as many of your lineup questions as I can on Twitter throughout the days leading up to kickoff and be tweeting fantasy relevant info throughout the gameday action as well.

Week 1 is always a little bit tricky since many of the picks are based on speculation and hype.  We have very few hard numbers to crunch since no teams have played meaningful football since Malcolm Butler entered his name in the history books.  However, there are some players that I like this week based on matchup and the value they offer at their DraftKings salary.

For each of the major positions, I’ve separated my picks into a slide for high-salary options and a slide for high-value options. I’ve included a slide for tight ends and D/ST options as well. To see who I’m playing in my DraftKings lineup, scroll to the final slide of this post.
