NFL pick ’em 2015: Week 1 predictions
FanSided’s Week 1 predictions and NFL pick ’em.
Next: Every NFL Team's Best Draft Pick Of All-Time
Welcome back to FanSided’s yearly tradition of picking games, making interoffice bets and talking a whole lotta smack.
Right from the jump we can tell that Jack Jorgensen is a live wire. Guy is the only soul in America
crazy enough
willing to pick Pittsburgh over New England. Guess he doesn’t care that the Steelers are trotting out 11 JV players on D, and that Tom Brady will be headhunting all year. Jorgensen was also savage enough to be the lone ranger on the Ravens bandwagon – he’s obviously expecting Peyton Manning’s arm to fall off much sooner than the rest of the office.
FanSided’s fearless leader Patrick Allen also went rogue, planting his flag firmly in Marcus Mariota’s camp over Jameis Winston. Allen also seems to have forgotten that Jim Harbaugh moved to Michigan, half the Niners retired, and that Adrian Peterson still has gas left in the tank.
As for yours truly, well, it’s Jacksonville or bust. Unless Cam Newton can throw throw the ball downfield, run under it and snag the bomb, the Jags’ defense should handle the Panthers. Besides, those lunatics down in DUUUUUUVVVAAAAALLLLLL should be going nuts in the dunk tank.
So how can this week’s games shape up?
The FanSided team of VP of Content and Strategy Patrick Allen, Managing Editor Mike Dyce, Managing Editor Jonathan Bass, NFL Director Matt Verderame and Associate Editors Josh Hill and Jack Jorgensen will continue to bring you our weekly predictions.
