Offensive Player Of The Year

Allen: Tom Brady

The Patriots are going to come into this season very, very angry following an entire offseason of the ā€œDeflategateā€ scandal. Look for Tommy and Bill to stuff the hell out of the stat sheet in an effort to give a big middle finger to the rest of the league. I reckon they’ll succeed.

Dyce: Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers is coming off an MVP season and might slow down a little bit with Jordy Nelson out of action for the season, but the Packers just seem to reload at the position and Rodgers will make a star out of some other player. It’ll be a tight MVP race and this will be Rodgers’ concession prize.

Bass: Ben Roethlisberger

With Antonio Brown, Markus Wheaton, rookie Sammie Coates, Le’Veon Bell, De’Angelo Williams and the last legs of Heath Miller Roethlisberger will have no shortage of weapons at his disposal. And with a nonexistent defense, look for Big Ben to throw early and often.

Hill: Adrian Peterson

He’s going to be running with a vengeance this year after what he went through last season. It doesn’t mean he has to be a sympathetic character, but he’s going to be running to prove people wrong, just like he did after tearing his ACL a few years back. He’s also playing to prove he’s worth another big contract whenever he escapes Minnesota and shows up at Jerry Jones’ door.

Jorgensen: Aaron Rodgers

Even with Jordy Nelson gone, Rodgers still has some weapons in this passing game. As I stated with my Breakout Player prediction, Davante Adams should step up and take a bigger role, plus he has one of his old favorite targets back in James Jones. Rodgers should have yet another explosive year as he continues to cement himself as one of the best ever. Ā

Verderame: Andrew Luck

With T.Y. Hilton, Andre Johnson, Frank Gore and a pair of capable tight ends, Luck could throw for 5,000 yards. Luck is also going to be playing against a dumpster fire of a division, so look for him to have a massive season.
