The Patriots scored the last points of the NFL season last year and hey have the first score of this season.
If you were waiting for Tom Brady to get the first touchdown of the NFL season, you didn’t have to wait long. We all originally thought that we’d have to wait four weeks to see Brady toss his first touchdown of the season, but instead we had to wait just over a quarter to see it happen.
Of course, Rob Gronkowski was on the receiving end of the first touchdown of the season.
For some reason, the Steelers didn’t notice that Gronkowski has shifted to the outside and left him badly uncovered. No one on the Steelers noticed that Gronk was uncovered, but Brady did and he took Pittsburgh to task for it.
It’s not going to be the last time we see this type of a connection between Brady and Gronk, but it’s probably going to the easiest touchdown that they score all season long.
