NFL players read their own superlatives on Tonight Show (Video)

NFL players read their own superlatives on the Tonight Show as the season begins.

The NFL season is finally upon us and it feels like fall already. As the Pittsburgh Steelers and new England Patriots squared off in the season opener on Thursday night, the folks at The Tonight Shot Starring Jimmy Fallon had their own tribute to the opener.

One of Fallon’s staples is a segment called “Superlatives.” Usually he reads it over a picture of the person in question.

This time, Fallon got the NFL players who were subject to his Superlatives to read their own. The list of NFL stars that appeared on the show included Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Rob Gronkowski, and Aaron Rodgers. All of theirs were incredibly perfect and suiting.

The best might have been Manning’s superlative, which was “most likely to have to explain to a rookie what a VCR was.” Rodgers was also pretty incredible, being named “most likely to offer you help at the hardware store even though he doesn’t work there.”

The other really incredible one was Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, who was named “most likely to be the love child of Ed Sheeran and the Firefox logo.
