In what could be the final outing of his career, Floyd Mayweather will look to push his record to 49-0 on Saturday night

Saturday night Floyd Mayweather steps back into the boxing ring, and whether you’re a fan of this fact or not, it could the the last time he ever does. As he tries to move that record of his to 49-0, he’ll be taking on Andre Berto, an opponent that was announced last month.

Mayweather is coming off maybe the most notable win of his career back in May. He finally stepped into the ring with Manny Pacquiao after we had waited all those years, and when that was all said and done, Mayweather came away with the decision win after 12. It was an underwhelming fight, for the most part, but Floyd put Manny’s name on his list finally, and that’s really all that matters to him.

Now as for his opponent on Saturday night in Berto, there are many people out there none too happy. It’s not that Berto is a terrible fighter by any means, but he’s lost three of his last six fights. This isn’t someone you’d expect to be in the ring with Floyd at this point, but he’s getting the nod anyway.

Can Andre Berto pull off the shocker as Mayweather gets set to end his illustrious career soon? Or, will this be yet another decisive win for the champ after 12 rounds? We’ll find out on Saturday.
