NBA star Jeremy Lin has to convince the New Orleans Hornets security that he is on the team.

Point guard Jeremy Lin is with a new team, joining the New Orleans Pelicans. Lin is making his way to the team’s facility for the first time and when he arrived he ran into an issue with security.

The security detail didn’t know Jeremy Lin was on the team and basically interrogated him as Lin tried to convince them he was in fact on the team.

How does someone working for an NBA franchise, and better yet working security controlling who is allowed in or not, not aware of the personnel they’re working with.

And Lin is a pretty notable star. Do you think he had to whip out his iPhone and Google himself, perhaps pull up his Wikipedia profile to prove his identity. Then once it was established that he is an NBA player then find a story to prove he signed with the Hornets.
