Everyone was waiting for Jay Cutler to make a pretty crucial mistake on Sunday and he did at a bad time
By all accounts on Sunday in the opener between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, Jay Cutler was playing pretty well. By “playing pretty well” we mean that he didn’t turn the ball over, something that we’re all used to him doing. With the Packers up 24-16 late in the fourth quarter, Cutler had the chance to be the hero and possibly make this a tie game against the rivals.

You really didn’t expect that to happen, did you? Come on now.
While Cutler was driving to try and get the team in the end zone, he of course committed his first turnover of the day, putting the ball right into the arms of one Clay Matthews.

It’s a bit sad that you literally had a feeling that was going to happen. When Cutler is in the position like that, you just get this feeling in your stomach that the turnover is on its way. And that, of course, is what happened on Sunday.
To make matters worse, this, coupled with a pass interference call, led to an Eddie Lacy touchdown.
