Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey’s eyes are closed in the onscreen graphic NBC used on Sunday Night Football.
Football fans are familiar with all the on-screen graphics with the heads of players during games, particularly nationally televised broadcasts.
During the first Sunday Night Football of the season when the Dallas Cowboys hosted the New York Giants, we were treated to something a bit unusual. It looks like Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey forgot to open his eyes for his head shot.

Seriously, why didn’t NBC let him retake it? Was it intentional on Bailey’s part to try and draw some attention to himself in a humorous manner?
I certainly don’t feel bad about my driver’s license anymore.
It led to some pretty hilarious jokes on Twitter, mainly about Bailey being asleep.

It’ll be interesting to see how Bailey’s picture appears in future nationally televised games.
