It’s not the most exciting game of the weekend, but it’s still football nonetheless. Cam Newton is one of the young and rising quarterbacks in the NFL and this is a season where he’s going to need to take the next step to the next level to ensure that he’s not labeled a middle of the road star. He’s showed flashes of being special, and while it’s easy to hate on him, all of the criticism comes in the context of him having basically no one to throw too.

Ditto for Blake Bortles, who isn’t yet in a make-or-break stage like Newton is but is someone who also needs to start showing progression this year in a big way.

The game will be aired regionally on FOX. Chris Myers, Ronde Barber and Jennifer Hale will be on the call during the broadcast.
