Tavon Austin blows past Seahawks for 75-yard punt return TD (Video)

Tavon Austin has been showcasing his talent in week one, now taking a punt back 75 yards to the house.

The St. Louis Rams used the eighth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft to take Tavon Austin, but hadn’t figured out a way to use him effectively coming into the 2015 season. It’s only Week One, but it seems as if Austin is just going to make huge plays and that’s the best way to use him.

Austin notched a 16-yard rushing touchdown in the first half for the Rams, but he was far from done. Early in the second half, Austin fielded a punt and it was off to the races down the sideline. In case you didn’t know, Austin is going to win almost every time it is a foot race.

Austin took the punt return 75 yards to the house and looked like a blur down the sidelines while doing so. It seems as if the receiver and return specialist is really coming into his own at the start of his third season. The question we have to wait to see answered is whether or not this is legit or just a flash in the pan that will be gone in an instant.
