It didn’t take long for the first fan brawl of the 2015 season, involving some angry Dallas Cowboys fans.

Anytime two teams from the NFC East division meet, emotions in the stands are sure to be running high, as was the case during Sunday night’s opener between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. However, the biggest altercation in the stands on Sunday wasn’t between two opposing fanbases.
Instead, a bunch of Cowboys fans got into what turned into a fairly sizable brawl. The video, courtesy of Complex.com.
As you can see, a female fan in a Miles Austin jersey and male Troy Aikman fan get into a heated conversation with a guy in a Tony Romo jersey. It’s unclear what exactly is said beyond a lot of swearing, before the woman in the Austin jersey decides to throw a punch around the 1:34 mark.
Fortunately, the fight is broken up eventually without any major injuries apart from the loss of some expensive drinks. We can only hope the fan to the right of the woman was able to recover his massive cowboy hat.
It’s unclear at what point in the game the altercation took place, but it’s safe to assume it was before the fourth quarter given how poorly the Cowboys played for most of the game. Dallas was able to squeak out a 27-26 win, thanks in part to both Romo’s heroics and some stupidity by the Giants, presumably sending everyone in this group home happy after all.
If this is what happens Week 1 of the season, we can only wait and see what happens when unruly fans are in midseason form.
