Now the source of Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch’s Beastmode-ness is clear. Meet Sunshine Lynch. On a scale of Newborn Puppy to Great White Shark, mama Lynch is the love child of a great white shark and a saltwater crocodile. To quote Spinal Tap, “This one goes to 11.”

I’m sure a lot of Seahawks fans were frustrated with Sunday’s loss to the St. Louis Rams in overtime, but Sunshine has a slightly different perspective. She’s a bit more invested than your average Seahawks fan (and the average Seahawks fan is absolutely, insanely fanatical). After all, that’s her boy out there on the field. Her point of contention was a controversial play on fourth down when Lynch could not convert, even though there was just one yard to go. All of Twitter was up in arms about it. The general sentiment was:
It's not so much that #Seahawks couldn't get 1 yard w/ #marshawnlynch when they needed it. It's that they tried to get it from shotgun. Why?

Sunshine also has some residual resentment and bitterness from the debacle in the Super Bowl when Pete Carroll shocked the world and called a play that resulted in a game-ending interception and win for the New England Patriots. A lot of people are still upset about it. Check out this Tweet from August:
Clearly Sunshine has no power over personnel decisions at her son’s place of employment. But, it is still awesome to see a mother looking out for her son and, more generally, a woman not afraid to express herself freely.
This is not the first time she spoke her mind. In 2014 she was infuriated with implications that the Seahawks did not need her son to win a Super Bowl. Posting on Facebook, via Deadspin,
“WOW !!! DID ANYONE TAKE IN TO CONSUDERATION THE GAME WAS WON BY A TEAM EFFORT TO ME IN THE 1ST HALF.NOT EVEN THE FACT THAT THE BRONCOS WERE TRYING TO HURT MARSHAWN LITTERLY IN THE 2ND HALF AND HIM BEING THE HUMBLE PLAYER HE IS WANTED HIS OTHER RUNNING BACK TO HAVE SOME PLAY TIME TOO .SO WAS IT REALLY NECESSARY FOR HIM TO CONTINUE TO PLAY .??? MAN REPORTERS DONT THINK THEY GUESS , I GUESS THATS WHY HE HATES REPORTERS , SORTA NAKING ME FEEL THAT WAY TOO !!!! 🙁 STOP GUESSING JUST REPORT THE FACTS PLEASE.”
