In 2005, former-NBA commissioner David Stern implemented a dress code for the players. They would be required to dress in business attire when arriving and leaving games, if they were inactive on the bench or participating in anything NBA-related. Although the policy was controversial at the time, players have come to embrace it. Fashion in the NBA has become quite popular with players sporting a variety of looks throughout the year. The league even hosted a fashion show featuring Klay Thompson, James Harden and others as models over All-Star Weekend this past season.

Of course, you can’t talk about NBA style without mentioning Russell Westbrook. Oklahoma City’s point guard has been rocking some of the most funky threads during his 7-year career. His colorful wardrobe is symbolic of his explosive style of play on the court. Yesterday on Twitter, the reigning scoring champ introduced his new clothing line.

That’s so Russ.
