C.J. Anderson Injury Update: Broncos list RB as questionable
By Josh Hill
The Denver Broncos might be without C.J. Anderson on Thursday night, which means adjustments to your fantasy roster.
C.J. Anderson was a breakout star for fantasy owners last year and his stock was high headlining into your drafts this year. But if you’re planning on starting him this week against the Chiefs you might want to consider other options before settling on rolling the dice with the Broncos back.
In their final injury report before tomorrow night’s game at Arrowhead, the Broncos have listed C.J. Anderson as questionable, meaning there’s a chance he might not be able to go.
If Anderson can’t go it’ll be Ronnie Hillman’s load to carry against the Chiefs.
Hillman is a decent handcuff, but if you have other options on your roster you’re probably best off going with them instead of Hillman. The Chiefs defense is far from perfect and their Week 1 matchup against the oh-so dominant runner known as Alfred Blue isn’t an accurate representation of who the team is.
Then again, the Chiefs are playing at home in Eric Berry’s first real game back in Arrowhead after beating cancer, so the atmosphere is going to be even more electric than it already normally is. Anderson isn’t out, so don’t freak out and make an irrational move on your roster until more official word is known. But as of now, Anderson’s situation is one to monitor as Anderson is hardly healthy.
