FanDuel Picks For September 16

More from DFS

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these FanDuel picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel picks for September 16:

  • 6 players to avoid at your Fantasy Football draftNFL Mocks
  • Jean Segura, Brewers ($2,700): Segura is having a bit of a down season this year, but he is still going to be good for daily leagues. He is playing well as of late and should make for a good option on the 16th. He has four stolen bases in his last seven games and has a good career against Jaime Garcia. He ha s gone 5/15 against and should be a safe bet for a few hits.

Paul Goldschmidt, Diamondbacks ($4,200): It is always a good idea to use a talent like Goldy. He is not on a major tear right now so his price is pretty reasonable. He also comes to us for the 16th with a favorable match-up. He is 7/20 against Andrew Cashner and should be a good option for the 16th.

    Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options

Sep 14, 2015; Cleveland, OH, USA; Cleveland Indians left fielder Michael Brantley (23) scores during the seventh inning against the Kansas City Royals at Progressive Field. Mandatory Credit: Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

    Outfield Hitter Options:

Christian Yelich, Marlins ($3,100): Yelich is on a pretty decent hot streak right now and looks to continue that. He has a favorable match-up against Bartolo Colon having gone 7/22 against him with three RBI and a stolen base. Get him active.

Michael Brantley, Indians ($4,300): Brantley is a great player and a great talent. He also has a favorable match-up and should be a great option for the 16th. He is hitting the ball well lately and faces off with a familiar face in Danny Duffy. Over his career he has gone 6/17 against Duffy with two RBI.

    Next: FanDuel Bonus Hitter Options

Aug 29, 2015; Cleveland, OH, USA; Cleveland Indians catcher Yan Gomes (10) celebrates his grand slam with first baseman Carlos Santana (41), right fielder Lonnie Chisenhall (8) and left fielder Michael Brantley (23) in the eighth inning against the Los Angeles Angels at Progressive Field. Bonus Hitter Options:

    Catcher:

Yan Gomes, Indians ($2,300): Gomes is having a decent season and has also hit the ball safely in his last three games. He also sports a nice match-up with Danny Duffy with a 5/13 mark, a home run and two RBI.

Jose Altuve, Astros ($3,600): Altuve is playing well lately and is also on a mini six game hitting streak. He also has a decent match-up with Martin Perez with a 5/12 and an RBI.
