Broncos’ Bradley Roby runs in Jamaal Charles fumble to stun Chiefs late (Video)
By Jack Crosby
The Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by the Denver Broncos on Thursday night and oh man was it ever a disastrous way to lose
All the Kansas City Chiefs wanted to do on Thursday night was run the clock out and take the Denver Broncos to overtime. After Peyton Manning had led the Broncos down the field to tie the game at 24, that’s all these poor souls wanted to do. Well, while that seems like a pretty easy task in the game of football, sometimes those plans can go right out the window.
Well, all it took was one terrible Jamaal Charles fumble for the worst possible scenario to take place.
While the Chiefs were trying to run that clock out, Charles coughed up the ball and it was scooped up by Bradley Roby who scampered his way into the end zone for the winning score.
I mean, the more you watch it, the more you can’t believe that actually happened. You give the ball to Jamaal Charles, of all people, you never expect something like this to happen. Yet, it did and the Broncos move to 2-0 on the season because of it.
Football, you never cease to amaze us.
