A photograph of New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul’s hand has emerged finally.
The mystery surrounding the condition of New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul’s hand seems to be clearing up. Pierre-Paul posted an Instagram video of him working out with his hand unwrapped but it was difficult to discern what condition it was in.

Now the New York Daily News has obtained the clearest picture we’ve seen of his hand since the fireworks accident in early July.
Needless to say, it is just as bad as people were probably expecting. Is it worse, still kind of hard to tell. His thumb looks like it could be missing the tip though the angle makes it unclear.
His ring finger is wrapped which suggests that finger was injured in addition to his amputated index finger.
As the speculation around his condition will likely wind down, Pierre-Paul took to Twitter to downplay how the injury will affect him. He said on Twitter that an index finger never helped him get a sack.
