Michael Carter-Williams hits cameraman with first pitch (Video)
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Michael Carter-Williams is the latest person to throw a terrible first pitch.
There’s just something about terrible first pitches that are intriguing to watch. Whether it’s the puzzling question of how someone could miss so badly or how someone can’t throw past five feet, there is just something philosophical behind bad first pitches.
Before the Milwaukee Brewers took the field Thursday, Bucks point guard Michael Carter-Williams threw out the first pitch before the game. Let’s just say, he wasn’t good. In fact, if bad first pitches were indeed a philosophical debate, this first pitch by Carter-Williams would have an entire compendium dedicated to it.
As he threw the ball, he came no where close to home plate. He sent it sailing past home plate and drilled the cameraman’s camera.
Great bar debates will be held for years on where this truly abhorrent display of pitching ranks among the great all time terrible pitches. The good news for Bucks fans is that Carter-Williams has some impressive arm strength, and that should serve him well this season on his passes.
The bad news is that he might be a little too strong and send a few into the first row of the stands at games. You’ve been warned, Bucks fans.
