Atlanta Hawks mascot uses a real Ashley Madison to encourage fans to cheat on their teams.

The Ashley Madison info dump has seemed to fade away in the news cycle and leave the collective forefronts of our mind. And while many saw scandal when the names of millions of people using a dating service that encouraged infidelity, the Atlanta Hawks saw a genius marketing ploy.

First, they recruited a real woman named Ashley Madison.

Then they got her to join the Atlanta Hawks mascot to help encourage fans to cheat on their old team with the Hawks.

The key element of this promotion is to sell ticket packages for multiple games. It is a clever idea, but I don’t really understand that the promotion works the way they want.

Are fans cheating on their teams by buying 10 game ticket packages with the Hawks? Or cheating on the Hawks by buying tickets to see 10 different teams play, that they get to sample the best the NBA has to offer?

That seems to be the really Ashley Madison angle here.
