The Green Bay Packers have a pretty incredible quarterback. His name is Aaron Rodgers, perhaps you have heard of him? Rodgers is the defending National Football League’s Most Valuable Player and the first touchdown of the Sunday Night Football game between Rodgers’ Packers and the Seattle Seahawks shows why.

Rodgers is able to draw Seattle defensive end Michael Bennett into the neutral zone on a hard count (for the second time on the drive) and then fires a laser into the end zone, hitting James Jones on a post route. The most impressive part of the play might actually belong to Jones, who burned Richard Sherman, maybe the best cornerback in the game.

Jones played the first seven years of his career with Green Bay before being allowed to explore free agency in the 2014 offseason. Jones decided to leave for the Oakland Raiders, signing a three-year deal for $10 million. However, Jones would only last one season with Oakland before general manager Reggie McKenzie cut him. Jones then fielded calls from teams until signing with the Packers, who contacted the veteran once Jordy Nelson was lost for the year with a torn ACL.

Jones enjoyed his best season in 2012, when he led the Packers with 14 touchdowns on 64 receptions and 98 targets. The nine-year vet is third on the depth chart behind Randall Cobb and youngster DaVante Adams.
