David Johnson didn’t take long to get the Cardinals on the board in Chicago.
The Arizona Cardinals are trying to find a way to get back to the postseason but do so with a quarterback who isn’t broken. Carson Palmer is looking good so far, but it’s Davi Johnson who has been stealing the show over the first two weeks of the season.
Arizona needed to get off to a hot start this week against the Bears, and that’s exactly what he did.
In fact it took not long at all for Johnson to take the opening kickoff of the game 108-yards to get the first points of the day on the board.
Johnson had a great day in Week 1 against the Saints and he’s starting to look like a real viable fantasy option for deeper leagues where you have a flex option. He might not yet be worth a start at wide receiver on your roster, but there’s aa good chance that he continues this trend and becomes a nice little breakout star for the Cardinals this season.
Just as long as he doesn’t break, the Cardinals might be a team to beat in the NFC is all these pieces keep coming together.
