DeMarco Murray seems to be coming into his own with the Eagles here in Week 2, as he’s now hurdling people
For a time there, people were getting a little worried about DeMarco Murray and his new team the Philadelphia Eagles. Week 1 against the Falcons was not really something to get excited about, and for a good amount of time against the Cowboys on Sunday, he didn’t look any more promising.
But near the end of the third quarter, he seems to finally be finding his groove.
With the Eagles down 13-0 in this one, Murray needed to finally come through for his team and that he seems to be doing. With the third coming to a close in this one, he took a pass from Sam Bradford down the sideline and hurdled Cowboys defender Brandon Carr while he was picking up the yards.
Now that’s the Murray that everyone has been looking for. That’s the guy that Eagles fans thought they were getting when he signed in free agency.
Of course, that whole play was pretty much nullified by the fact that Murray was penalized for getting into an altercation with Dan Bailey on the sideline, which was a pretty dumb move.
But, the hurdle was pretty neat, nonetheless.
