The Dallas Cowboys are trying to figure out how to survive without star wide receiver Dez Bryant. Bryant suffered a broken bone in his foot and was originally reported to be out roughly six weeks.

On Sunday morning, NFL insider Ian Rapoport had a report that Bryant will be out at least 10 weeks, potentially 12 weeks. Rapoport reported that Bryant needed a bone graft during surgery to repair the broken bone, and cited sources.

Well Bryant, who is live-tweeting the Cowboys game against the Philadelphia Eagles, took his platform to refute Rapoport’s report.

This isn’t the first time Dez Bryant took to Twitter to refute a report claiming he would be out a certain period of time. Earlier this week a report said he’d be out roughly eight weeks and he told fans not to listen to that craziness.

The reality is that Bryant probably thinks he can be back sooner than he can. Can’t blame him for being optimistic, but the Cowboys won’t let him hurt himself.
