Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Kiko Alonso left the game with a knee injury.
The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are squaring off in NFC East action. Right now it is a low-scoring affair that probably has more to do with struggling offenses rather than dominant defenses.
The Eagles defense took another hit when they lost linebacker Kiko Alonso, the player they traded star running back LeSean McCoy for.
Kiko Alonso out of the game with a knee injury and will not return, per press box announcement.

Of course the Eagles replaced McCoy with DeMarco Murray, so they came out with a wash there. Losing Alonso is going to be detrimental to the Eagles. He is out of the game, but who knows if he will miss the following week.
His impact on this game could be substantial, without Dez Bryant the Cowboys will be eager to complete short passes across the middle and underneath. It could also help the Cowboys in their running game without Alonso on the field.
