The Chicago Bears need to start having Jay Cutler lead the team, which starts with throwing to the right team.
Jay Cutler has been under a lot of fire recently for being too soft, too inaccurate but also the wrong guy for the job to lead the Bears into the future. He doesn’t do himself any favors when he throws to the wrong team or to inanimate objects like the ground, but he managed to get the ball to the right receiver on Sunday afternoon in what seems to be an all too rare occasion.
What was indeed rare about this pass was that it went to something called Josh Bellamy, who scored his first touchdown of the game for the Bears.
Just watch, it doesn’t happen often:
The Bears need to have Cutler keep this up, as throwing to the right team is a sure fire way to make fans not want to burn you at the stake. Cutler isn’t as elite as he always needs to be, but he can string together enough alright passes to make it look like he knows what he’s doing enough to get people to pay him seven figures to mess up most of the time.
