Tony Romo injury: Cowboys fans, fantasy owners meltdown on Twitter

Tony Romo was having a pretty great game against the Eagles, until his body decided to break on him.

The Dallas Cowboys are looking to avenge their loss in the NFC Divisional Round last year and finally make it back to the Super Bowl, but that’s a plan that continues to hit snag after snag. They’re looking to go 2-0 on the season, but that could come at the price of losing their top two players in consecutive weeks.

Last week Dez Bryant broke his foot and now might be out as long as 12 weeks, and now Tony Romo’s annual injury scare has taken place. In the third quarter of the game, Romo took a shot and went to the locker room with what appears to be a serious shoulder injury.

Needless to say, Cowboys fans and those who own Romo on their fantasy teams had a meltdown on Twitter:
