A look at the WWE Night of Champions match result featuring Nikki Bella defending the Divas title against Charlotte

After the first three matches were out of the way on Sunday night at WWE Night of Champions, it was finally time for the Divas Championship match between Nikki Bella and Charlotte. This was one of the matches that we were most looking forward to, especially after what happened this past Monday night.

Out first for this one was the challenger, Charlotte, followed by the longest reigning champion herself, Nikki Bella. Charlotte came out with Team PCB, while Nikki was flanked by Team Bella for herself. Although, if she were to lose the match in any way, then she would lose the title as well.

To get this one started off, Nikki rolled right out of the ring after the bell, so it seems like she’s playing the heel tonight? You can never really tell anymore, it’s pretty sad. She eventually got back in the ring and we were finally underway with Charlotte getting the upper hand.

One of the things to really note from this one is that there was actually some ring psychology used here, with Nikki working over an injured knee of Charlotte. That was a nice surprise. Nikki would actually work over that knee for most of the match, with Charlotte screaming in agony.

Eventually, the members of each team would start brawling on the outside after Team Bella was trying to cause a distraction and were yelled at by Nikki. Because, you know, the whole losing the belt by DQ thing and all.

When it was all said and done, Charlotte is your new champion!
