After a grueling battle with Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions on Sunday, the legend Sting is reportedly hurt badly

We were brought WWE Night of Champions on Sunday night, and with the show, we were brought a sight that we all thought we’d never see, that being Sting challenging for the WWE title. After so many years of not working for the company, this is something that seemed just destined to never happen, but it did.

Well, unfortunately, that match may end up being the last match of his career. It was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer after the show that Sting suffered a pretty serious back injury, one that could prevent him from ever stepping into the ring ever again. With Sting expected to have at least one more match in WWE, presumably at WrestleMania in Dallas, that’s some pretty heartbreaking news.

So, some may be wondering at what point in the match the injury actually occurred. We may know the answer to that as well.

That right there was the second turnbuckle bomb that Sting took from Seth Rollins in the match. After he hits the corner, you can clearly see that his body just immediately goes out of whack. His legs look as if he’s stumbling out of an Irish pub at 3:00 a.m. Not to mention, there is also a video floating around where you can clearly hear Rollins take the blame for the injury.

Just such an unfortunate incident here, and probably one that should have never happened to begin with. At 53, Sting should not have been taking bumps like turnbuckle bombs, nor the table spot that he did earlier as well.
