Candace Parker isn’t someone you want to mess with — something Kevin Garnett learned without really asking.

The WNBA Playoffs are on to the Conference Finals round, but we didn’t make it out of the Semifinals round without some pretty intense moments. One of those moments came in Game 3 between the Lynx and Sparks, as Candace Parker was not going to go quietly into the night.

Parker wasn’t ready to head back to Los Angeles without a ticket to the Conference Finals, and Kevin Garnett was front and center to experience that. Late in the fourth quarter, Parker threw down a nasty block against the Lynx and proceeded to celebrate like Kevin Garnett used to — right in front of Garnett himself.

Since being traded back to the Timberwolves last season and agreeing to a two-year deal to remain with the team, Garnett has assimilated himself back into the Minnesota basketball scene seamlessly. Part of that means supporting the only Minnesota team to have won anything in the last 20 years, even if that means getting unexpectedly ad indirectly trolled.
