College Football Picks Against The Spread September 24-25

facebooktwitterreddit

There are 54 FBS vs. FBS games on this college football weekend. Want them all picked against the spread? You have come to the right place! I won’t avoid any of them! However, I have installed a points system so you know which ones I am most sure of.

The point scale will go like this:

5. A lock. I am comfortable making a sizable wager on this game.

4. Very confident. Not quite a lock, but I am comfortable making a decent sized wager on it.

3. Middle of the road. Good enough that I would make a small wager on it.

2. Could go either way. So much so that I wouldn’t bet on it.

1. Stay away from these.

Take note that any games that involve 1-AA teams will NOT be picked. There simply is not enough information to get an accurate spread.

I had a rough week in week 3 going 23-29, but I have several chances to make it right this weekend, starting on Thursday night. There are also two games on Friday, which leaves a whopping 51 on Saturday! All of the picks will be up well before the noon eastern kickoffs on Saturday for you parlayers.

I am a tad under par for the season at 69-72. I am going to try to make it to 100 wins this weekend. We will see how that goes!

Here are my college football picks against the spread September 24 and 25:

Cincinnati at Memphis(-9.5)(4): This line rose sharply with the news that Gunner Kiel would likely miss the game. Well, now expect the line to adjust the other way with the news coming late Wednesday night that Kiel had been upgraded to probable. Does that affect my pick? Probably not. The Bearcats are 0-3 against the spread so far this year. That is not an accident. Give me Memphis.

Boise State(-2.5) at Virginia(5): What a joke! Boise loses their starting QB in Ryan Finley, and is still favored! On the road? Virginia wins this outright. They lost to two very good teams in UCLA and Notre Dame. Who cares if they looked apathetic against William and Mary? I don’t. The actions against good teams mean more to me.

(21)Stanford(-15.5) at Oregon State(3): Ah, Corvallis. Where many a Pac 12 dream has died. This line looks a little high if Kevin Hogan can’t play. Even if he can, he hasn’t exactly been a model of consistency. He looked great against USC, but the Trojans allowed a good passing day to Idaho’s Matt Linehan as well. I’m not sold on the Cardinal’s ability to go into Corvallis and blow out the Beavers with Hogan at less than 100%. Give me Oregon State.

Stay tuned for the rest of the picks against the spread, and FanDuel lineups for both the college and pro games this weekend!
