Keys to Victory
The Gators have won three hard-fought games so far this season and find themselves in a surprising position. They are going into this game with a 3-0 record, while the presumably stronger Vols have struggled some and currently have a 2-1 record. Tennessee’s loss was a heartbreaking defeat against Oklahoma during which they gave up a 17-point lead to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.
Adding to the drama, Tennessee is in the midst of an unfortunate 10-game losing streak for the Gators. Stakes are high for the team that expected to contend for an SEC title, and instead finds itself unranked and facing pressure relatively early in their season. Last season, Tennessee lost to Florida by one point in a sloppy game that featured less then 500 combined yards of offense and six turnovers.
Florida has a strong defense that has the potential to shut down the Vols offense both on the ground and in the air. Tennessee has been all over the place on both sides of the ball. Their rushing game against Bowling Green was strong, whereas against Oklahoma, their run game was sorely lacking.
Betting Odds
Point Spread: Tennessee is favored by 1.5 points

Prediction
Tennessee will break their losing streak and come out on top in a tough, sloppy game that will keep fans guessing until the very end. The way the Vols lost to Oklahoma is an indication that almost anything could happen.
Final Score: Tennessee: 21, Florida: 20
