The Arizona Cardinals destroyed the San Francisco 49ers.
The San Francisco 49ers went on the road to take on their tough divisional rivals, the Arizona Cardinals. 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick opened the game by gifting the Cardinals a 14-point lead after throwing two interceptions returned for touchdowns.

In the second quarter it was all Cardinals running back Chris Johnson, who added two touchdowns to extend their lead to 28-0.
Former rugby star Jarryd Hayne, and 49ers return man, came up with a big play on a punt return to set up Colin Kaepernick in the red zone. A couple plays later, Kaepernick waltzed into the end zone to score a touchdown.
The Cardinals didn’t let up. They tacked on another three points in the final second of the second quarter. In the third quarter the Cardinals added another touchdown when Carson Palmer found Larry Fitzgerald at the back of the end zone for another score.

Next Week
Next week the Cardinals take on another NFC West rival in the St. Louis Rams. Fortunately the Cardinals don’t have to go to the Edward Jones Dome and play on their burnt turf.
The 49ers get to return to the comforts of home. Unfortunately for the 49ers, the dominant Green Bay Packers are rolling into town setting up another rough week.
