Bills’ Richie Incognito named team captain against the Dolphins
By Mike Dyce
The Buffalo Bills named Richie Incognito a team captain against his former team, the Miami Dolphins.
The Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins are squaring off on Sunday, and for offensive guard Richie Incognito that means facing his former team. Incognito, of course, was involved in the Dolphins bully-scandal involving Jonathan Martin, and was the main perpetrator and tormenter of Martin.
Incognito isn’t highly thought of by NFL fans, and there certainly will be some eyebrows raised when they see that Incognito was named a team captain against the Dolphins.
Why would the Bills and Rex Ryan do this? Sure, Ryan is a fan of trolling opponents. Heck, the Bills sold ball pumps ahead of their game against the New England Patriots.
But this isn’t about deflated footballs, this is a more serious issue and seems to be in poor taste. Or on another note, why would your want to draw attention to the situation?
