On Sunday, the Houston Texans will host Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3 action of the NFL season. It’s going to be a battle of upstart quarterbacks, as the rookie Winston is looking to continue his winning steak while the veteran Ryan Mallet will look to continue to hold a job.

The Buccaneers were able to sneak into New Orleans and get a win last week, the first of Winston’s young career as starter. It was hardly a signature win nor was it something that the Buccaneers can brag too hard about, but it’s a win — which is more than what fans in Tampa are used to seeing. Houston is in a similarly dire spot, as they risk falling to 0-3 this week and to the absolute bottom of the AFC. It’s a tale of two cities, as Tampa is trying to win to gain confidence as a young team while the Texans need a win to avoid an embarrassing start to what is supposed to be a return to form season.
The game will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. on FOX. Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, Holly Sonders will be working the game as announcers. The game will be live streamed on NFL Sunday Ticket to DirecTV customers who have the package.
