The Pope is visiting America, and one Patriots fan is going all out for the occasion.

The New England Patriots have been blessed in more than one way this season, and fans are letting the world know it. From the inexplicable Super Bowl win to the way Tom Brady got off the hook for DeflateGate, the Patriots must have some divine power watching over them.

With the Pope visiting America this week — in case you hadn’t heard — this was a perfect opportunity for Patriots fans to let us know how blessed they’ve been.

In a move that shouldn’t really surprise any of us, an overzealous Patriots fan decided that he wanted to bless the team this weekend by dressing up like the Pope — a Patriots Pope.

It’s already been a hot start to the season for the Patriots, as the Brady ruling was something that sparked the team to want to burn everyone in their path and rub it into the NFL over trying to suspend Brady for something that was ultimately pretty arbitrary.

Meanwhile, Patriots fans have gone from being a group of fans that you didn’t really pay attention to, into a fan base that is becoming one that will troll you like no other fan base can.
