Running down the NFL Power Rankings for Week 3 of the season.

With three weeks in the books, things are starting to shake out in the National Football League. Unfortunately for some teams, it’s due to injuries.

Pittsburgh was the latest club to fall prey to the injury bug on Sunday, when Ben Roethlisberger was knocked out of the Steelers’ contest versus the Rams midway through the third quarter. On the year, Big Ben, Drew Brees and Tony Romo line the list of injured quarterbacks from teams expected to compete for their respective divisions. The Cowboys and Saints both fell without their captains to steer the ship; the Steelers were able to grind out a victory with Mike Vick under center.

In the latest power rankings, the Baltimore Ravens were the biggest scattershot team among the FanSided staff. They placed everywhere from No. 15 to No. 32. The Ravens are a bit of an enigma, as they’ve played competitive ball but failed to close out games.

After a completely dominant performance against the 49ers, the Arizona Cardinals climbed to the No. 2 spot this week. Arizona put together as complete of an effort as has been seen in this young season, and in the early going looks like a legitimate threat to make a run at Super Bowl 50.

With the first month of the season out of the way, here’s a look at FanSided’s Week 3 NFL power rankings.
