We are going to take a quick look at some player who are available in more than 50% of ESPN.com fantasy football leagues. There are many different reasons to pick up and make sure you keep your roster full of players like this. Some of these players you will want to pick up and they could be useful in a match-up type of situation. Some of these guys are players you will want to pick up and hang on to them to see of they become the next breakout player. Chances are this year’s Odell Beckham Jr. is still out there floating around on every league’s waiver wire. The most active player in your league is going to be the guy who picks up this year’s breakout stud and changes the trajectory of their fantasy football team, and your league.
We will look at all the different QBs, RBs, WRs, and TEs out there that you should pick up and add to your fantasy football team. As far as cutting a player you have to be careful there and make sure that he is not going to become a useful commodity anytime soon. Sometimes if a player is injured you can safely cut him and manage to pick him up before anyone else would if you are diligent about the matter.

Quarterbacks:
Tyrod Taylor, Bills: The fact that Tyrod Taylor is still available in fantasy leagues is really a crying shame. He should be owned across all formats and could wind up finishing the year in a very surprising fashion. I would not be shocked to see him post QB1 numbers for the rest of the season and is a guy I would target in a trade if I had just lost Ben Roethlisberger or Tony Romo. He should be a minimally cheap trade target and could be a guy who does a great job leading you to fantasy glory.
Andy Dalton, Bengals: Here is another one that is a sad reality to see on the waiver wire. The Red Rocket is actually a guy who should have been picked up as a solid backup option after week one. I am actually considering making Dalton a starting QB in a few of my leagues as I have been pleased with that I have seen from him.
Derek Carr, Raiders: Carr seems to have finally got on the same page with standout rookie WR Amari Cooper. They have been tearing it up the past few weeks and could be a pretty nasty fantasy duo for the rest of the season. Carr is not a guy I would consider a regular starter at this point, but he is certainly a match-ups starter considering some of the injuries to QBs lately.
Blake Bortles, Jaguars: Bortles is a pretty solid talent at QB and could develop into a solid backup QB especially in two QB leagues or a deeper league. He has been a top 13 QB in several of my leagues over the first three weeks of the season and should continue to remain as a solid backup option.

Karlos Williams, Bills: Williams is one of those one week type of pickups assuming that LeSean McCoy is indeed only sidelined for one week. If the McCoy owner in your league is a diligent owner (unlike yours truly) there is a good chance that Williams is already scooped up and gone, but if not, Williams should be your number one waiver claim this week if you need a RB for week 4.
Thomas Rawls, Seahawks: Rawls was able to pile up 16 carries for 104 yards this past week in relief of the injured Marshawn Lynch. We are not sure at this time how long Lynch projects to be out, but Rawls makes for in intriguing pickup for anyone in need of a RB.
Chris Johnson, Cardinals: CJ?K proved that he still has plenty of burst, speed and gas left in the tank this past weekend. I would suspect that Johnson is already gone in most competitive leagues, but if he is not that will certainly change after this week.
Lance Dunbar, Cowboys: Dunbar is primarily going to be an add in PPR leagues. He has not done too much on the ground so far this season, but he has proven to be an integral part of the passing game for the Cowboys and with checkdown master Brandon Weeden in at QB, Dunbar will be PPR gold in fantasy leagues. Go and scoop him up in a hurry.
Next: Waiver Wire WRs For Week 4
Sep 27, 2015; Miami Gardens, FL, USA; Miami Dolphins wide receiver

Wide Receivers:
Rishard Matthews, Dolphins: Matthews has not done anything except for go out and rack up back to back weeks with six catches for over 110 yards each week. He also tallied two touchdowns this past week and a week one effort that included four catches for 34 yards and a touchdown and you have a top 15 producing WR. If he is available in your league then go and pick him up.
Marvin Jones, Bengals: Jones has been pretty solid this season and has the stats to prove it. His targets are up and he is proving to be a red zone target and someone Andy Dalton can trust. Go and get him on your fantasy team today!
Rueben Randle, Giants: I kind of hesitate a bit to add Randle to this list as we have been seemingly waiting and expecting him to breakout for several seasons now. However we would be remiss if he continues to provide the stats he did this past week and Manning found himself another WR to make a fantasy stud.
Next: Waiver Wire Tight Ends For Week 4
Aug 22, 2015; Glendale, AZ, USA; San Diego Chargers tight end

Tight Ends:
Antonio Gates, Chargers: Gates has one more week of suspension so if you are in need of a tight end, now is the perfect time to add him before he starts getting all hyped up. I suspect that him and Rivers will pick right up and make Gates a fantasy worthy tight end across all formats.
Charles Clay, Bills: Clay has been catching on to the Bills offense and also developing chemistry with QB Tyrod Taylor. His targets have risen each week and so have his catches. He caught five passes for 82 yards and touchdown in week three and had 3-19 and a touchdown in week two. If you are desperate for a tight end you could certainly do a lot worse.
Maxx Williams, Ravens: Last week’s waiver wire tight end from the Ravens would up sitting out the second half with an injury that we have yet to hear about, but while he did this week’s waiver wire tight end from the Ravens racked up three catches for 44 yards on six targets all in the fourth quarter.
As always we thank you for stopping by and wish all you fantasy footballers the best of luck!
