Tim Tebow made a surprise visit to a young Florida fan in the hospital and the results were wonderful.

Tim Tebow is one of the more polarizing figures to come out of modern day sports. Regardless, he often uses his fame to spread good health and laughter.
Say what you want about Tebow the quarterback, but Tebow the person is a hell of a guy. Nathaniel’s reaction is priceless – he can barely make out the words “wow” and “thank you,” which shows how truly awestruck he was that Tebow came to visit him in the hospital.
This is a powerful indicator of what sports can bring to every fan who watches – hope and excitement. A place to put aside the everyday thoughts and focus attention on a common denominator that brings all fans together.
Tebow runs the Tim Tebow Foundation, which has a primary goal of showing God’s love to children around the world. Religious or not, you can’t hate the message he’s trying to spread.
While the act of athletes giving back has gone back for decades, it became more public with the addition of ESPN’s My Wish. My Wish is a service ESPN provides to terminally ill children that makes their sports dream come true.
Tim Tebow most recently gave the NFL another go with the Philadelphia Eagles this off-season, but was cut before the regular season started. That may not matter though – it seems as though he makes a bigger impact off the field with the fans than he did in his time on the field behind the center.
