The 2015 MLB season is almost over, and baseball fans are in mourning.

It must be said that some fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks, with the league’s best teams set to embark on what will hopefully be lengthy playoff journeys, but for supporters of teams that aren’t playoff-bound, we are in the dead period. “Playing out the string” is an overused term, but it certainly applies to at least a handful of teams in baseball right now, and for those squads, we must look forward to 2016 and beyond to generate interest.

In this space, we are tasked with suggesting a move that each MLB team should make before the start of the 2016 season. This move can range from simply signing a free agent to making a managerial change. And for some teams, one move won’t nearly be enough to right the ship as next season approaches. Still, subtle tweaks can often go a long way in the baseball world, and fans must see the light at the end of the tunnel in order to fully invest in the proceedings.

Without additional delay, let’s take a look at the teams (in alphabetical order), and by the end, each franchise should hopefully see improvement for the future.
