After what we saw go down on Thursday night, Landon Donovan would like to give the Steelers some help

Thursday night was not a good night for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Baltimore Ravens. Furthermore, Thursday night was not especially good for placekicker Josh Scobee, who was a tad off of his game to say the least. Scobee missed two of his four field goal attempts and pretty much cost the Steelers the win late in this one. With that, it’s pretty obvious that the Steelers need someone new to put the ball through the uprights.

Well, have no fear, Steelers. There is someone who is pretty well-known for kicking a ball in his career that would love to help you out. Although, he’s not known for kicking the NFL-type of ball.

U.S. soccer legend Landon Donovan was asked on Twitter whether or not he would be interested in taking on the duties. And, well, he seems up to the challenge.

Well, at the moment, Donovan really isn’t doing anything, so it can’t maybe hurt to give him a shot, right?

The fact of the matter is that after what we saw on Thursday night, this team needs some kind of help out there in regards to getting the three points when they need them.
