Twitter held no punches talking about the Los Angeles Clippers new court and jerseys
The Los Angeles Clippers kicked off the NBA preseason at home in the STAPLES Center on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets. It’s the start of a new year in the league, but also the beginning of the Clippers rebranding that they started by revealing their new logo and jerseys several months ago. Friday night held the reveal of their new, redesigned court.
Let’s just say the unveiling of the new court could have gone better.
As the Clippers try and reestablish themselves under new ownership with this new look, this is the court design that they ultimately settled upon:

If the sight of the new court offends your eyes, then you aren’t alone. Twitter got wind of the new look for the Clippers’ court and, as Twitter tends to do, they started the roasting. There were those that were just appalled:
I don't know what's worse: The Clippers uniforms or their court design.

However, the best reactions predictably came from those with the quick wit to make jokes at the Clippers’ expense:

The Clippers court design looks like what you'd do in an old video game that only allowed solid colors and had limited fonts.

There were some scarce individuals who thought the design was fine, but the general consensus was that the new court looks pretty terrible. What say you? Tell us how you feel about the redesign in the comments.
