New Day took a DQ loss to the Dudley Boyz in MSG, but held on to their titles

Continuing their feud that has been ongoing since the return of the Dudley Boyz, the legendary tag team was in action against The New Day at the WWE MSG Show. In honor of the occasion and as The New Day continued to “Save The Tables,” the WWE Tag Team Champions put their titles on the line in Madison Square Garden against the Dudleys.

Kofi Kingston and Devon opened up the action and, after some feeling out of one another, Devon’s size proved to be too much for Kofi. The New Day member then scrambled to his corner to tag in Big E, but the Dudleys continued to stay on top of the action, even with the big man in. After taking some big hits, Kofi was tagged in again and the Dudleys kept bringing the heat:

Even when Big E got back in, his attempts at getting in offense were futile until the Dudley Boyz set up for the Wassup and Kofi distracted the ref long enough for Xavier Woods to knock Devon off the top rope:

After that, The New Day got into their grove and began viciously beating Bubba Ray. This included some taunting from Big E:

However, Bubba was able to get some breathing room and got to Devon for the tag. Devon began wrecking everything in sight, even withstanding double-team attacks coming from all angles. This led to Kofi coming off the ropes and running straight into a 3-D. It didn’t matter, though, because Woods slid in and attacked Devon to get New Day disqualified so they could keep the belts:

New Day attempted to put the Dudleys through a table after the match like the great heels they are, but their plan once again backfired. Bubba and Devon came back to life after taking a beating, disposed of Big E and Kofi, and put Woods through a table yet another time:
