Orton and Ziggler overcame Rusev and Sheamus at the WWE MSG Show

Randy Orton and Sheamus have been going at each other for quite some time now, having matches at the last couple of pay-per-views. Similarly, Dolph Ziggler and Rusev have been at one another’s throat ever since Lana joined forces with Ziggler after spurning Rusev. That led to Orton and Ziggler facing off with Sheamus and Rusev inside Madison Square Garden.

The action started with Orton and Sheamus in the ring and the two predictably began a battle of strikes and power. However, the action really picked up when their partners tagged in, including a massive dropkick from Ziggler to Rusev:

Ziggler’s momentum was halted in a big way, though, when Rusev powered up and hit Dolph with a huge sideslam:

Sheamus and Rusev then began taking turns tagging the other in and beating up on Ziggler, who looked to be in real peril. Ziggler was down for most of this, taking big knees, kicks, and other strikes from whichever of his opponents happened to be in the ring at a given time. Even when Dolph tried to show life, Rusev or Sheamus had an answer so he couldn’t get to Orton. That is until he was able to fight back enough to hit a scoop slam on each of them.

Orton then got the hot tag and began running wild over the just-tagged-in Sheamus. Even when Rusev tried to get involved, The Viper took him out. However, Sheamus took advantage of a distraction and got Orton down long enough to seemingly set up a Brogue Kick.

The Brogue attempt missed, though, and Sheamus walked into a Ziggler superkick that led to an RKO from Orton. That was enough for the pin and the victory for the face team:

The action wasn’t done there. Rusev began yelling at Sheamus for losing, angering Mr. Money In The Bank who then hit the Bulgarian with a Brogue Kick:
