Amari Cooper catches insane touchdown (Video)
Amari Cooper showed off his unreal talent by getting both feet down on this touchdown catch
The Oakland Raiders couldn’t get much going offensively on their first couple of drives against the Chicago Bears, but Amari Cooper decided to change that. After already hauling in two catches from Derek Carr to start the Raiders’ third drive, he finished it off with an insane touchdown catch.
Cooper was going deep off of a double-move and Carr unleashed a bomb into the back of the endzone. The rookie wide receiver had already shed his coverage and caught the ball in stride in the back of the endzone:
However, the call on the field was incomplete, saying that Cooper had stepped out of bounds. Oakland head coach Jack Del Rio threw out the challenge flag and, upon further review, Cooper somehow managed to get both of his feet down inbounds and get six points for the Raiders. How someone can be moving that quickly and, in full stride, have the presence of mind to get both feet down is absurd. The Raiders came into Week 4 with a surprising 2-1 record, a big reason being a massive improvement on the offensive side of the ball. Seeing what Cooper’s capable of, you can see why the offense might improve after adding him to the passing game.
