Losers: Ole Miss Rebels (No. 14; Down From No. 3)

What … what happened?

That’s probably the question a lot of people were asking themselves on Saturday night when they either watched what happened to the Rebs or saw the score afterwards. Hell, for the people that saw the score afterwards, they more than likely wondered whether or not the app they were viewing had made a mistake and mixed the teams up. But, nope, that actually happened.

Two weeks ago this team was on top of the world, handily taking care of Alabama in their own stadium. Then, last weekend, they struggled with Vanderbilt, a game that people saw not more as a warning sign, rather that they were looking ahead to their game on Saturday night.

Well, if they were looking ahead to their game on Saturday night, they might want to have their vision checked.

This team went into the Swamp on Saturday night and, right from the opening whistle, this one was over. Ole Miss was dominated on both sides of the ball from start to finish by a team that had a lot of their players supposedly battling the flu bug.

For that effort, the AP voters told the Rebels to please exit their Top 10 and figure out how they can get back.

Hey, speaking of that team that railroaded the Rebels …
