Jameis Winston has an uncanny ability to throw touchdown passes to the wrong team, and Josh Norman capitalized.
It has been a period of growing pains for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first year of the Jameis Winston era but it’s been a rougher start than fans maybe would have liked to see. Through the first three games of the season, Winston has shown an ability to throw touchdowns — but some of those go to the wrong team.
His first pass of his career was a pick six, and one of this first passes of his first matchup against the Carolina Panthers was the same result.
The interception was such an easy pick six that Josh Norman literally rode the football around the end zone to emphasize who easy it was.
Jameis is going to be alright in the long run — at least that’s the hope. His first season was always going to be rough, but the Panthers aren’t going to be doing Tampa any favors while they storm to what could very well be a 4-0 start to their season and legitimate contention for a top seed in the NFC playoffs.
