The Chicago Cubs are heading to the MLB postseason and one college professor is moving exams to allow students to attend the game.
With a 107-year World Series drought, the Chicago Cubs could use all the positive karma they can get to break the biggest curse in professional sports history. From eating a goat to trying to get Steve Bartman back to attend the playoffs in support of his beloved Cubs, fans are trying everything to amp up the good mojo.
Apparently, that includes rescheduling college exams.
Ben Larson, a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign recently had a conundrum. After acquiring tickets to the Cubs’ Wild Card game in Pittsburgh versus the Pirates, the Cubs’ fan had to pick between attending the team’s first playoff game since 2008 or taking his scheduled exam the next day when he would otherwise return from the game.
Well, being the suave student that he is, Mr. Larson threw himself at the mercy of his professor, hoping that he was a Cubs fan. Needless to say, he got a favorable result.

Any teacher is understands that the universe is being realigned for the Cubs to make a run at the World Series easily racks up some cool points in this book and could perhaps be the greatest professor of all-time!
With the Cubs looking for their first World Series appearance since 1945 and their first title since 1908, this may be the final tipping point for everything to come together. Every piece of good mojo counts and this definitely counts as some solid good mojo.
