The last AL Postseason ticket will be punched tonight, and the question is whether or not it will be the Yankees or the Astros.

For the first time in basically forever, the Houston Astros are actually a good team. There were jokes made at the beginning of the season over the team having a Taylor Swift concert scheduled at MinuteMaid Field on the same day a home playoff game was scheduled, but little did we know at the time that we would actually be in danger of a conflict thanks tot he Astros finally being respectable.
They aren’t officially in the postseason yet, and neither are the New York Yankees for that matter. Tonight will decide who will move on to the ALDS to face the Kansas City Royals. It’s a game that is controversial in that some don’t believe we should have a Game 163 style playoff where it’s win or go home — but you won’t hear Yankees or Astros fans complaining about that in the Bronx tonight.
