Greg Hardy is returning from suspension and already rubbing people the wrong way with his comments.
Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy’s suspension is over and he is returning to action. The unpopular player because of his history of alleged domestic violence is already rubbing people the wrong way with his comments.
For instance when he began talking about New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his wife.
“I love seeing Tom Brady. You seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game,” Hardy said.
Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones was asked about Hardy’s comments and Jones didn’t do a whole lot to alleviate the situation, perhaps he even made it worse.
“When I saw him marry her [Gisele], Tom went up in my eyes 100%. She’s very very attractive and it shows what an outstanding individual Tom is,” Jones said.
Not exactly what you want to hear from an owner about controversial comments from a player. Jones basically doubled down and reiterated what Hardy said.
Hardy, who allegedly threw his ex-girlfriend on a bed of rifles, also said he was going to come out “guns blazin.'”
Poor choice of words. At least Jones made a somewhat logical explanation of Hardy’s comments about guns.
“Oh my goodness,” Jones said, pausing momentarily. “Well, you’re not allowed to have guns on the football field. We all know that’s just a way of expressing yourself. I hope his guns are ablazin.’”
